WATCH | 'Dad' interrupting his daughter as she sings will have you crying with laughter

Singer and mom of two, Sheena Melwani has been stunning the internet with her beautiful voice since 2012, and recently her "interrupted" series has had the internet ROTFL. 

The series of short videos were first shared via TikTok showing the singer performing new and old love songs, interrupted by her husband impersonating a nagging father. 

Often captioning the videos, "Indian dads be like..." many believed the hilarious comments to be coming from her actual dad.

The videos have become so popular that Sheena's even created a series on her YouTube channel called TheRealIndianDad. 

In an interview, the singer shared that's it been a pleasure making people smile during the pandemic. 

"At a time when people are really not in a good place — they're sad, they're down in the dumps, we're dealing with this global pandemic — people are looking for a reason to laugh, smile, and connect. It's been a really nice way to share music and laughter all at once."
