Tracee Simpson was a single mom of 6 when she met her husband, Justin Schaeffer, then a single father of two children.
The US-based couple says they had a whirlwind romance, and soon went from eight children to ten.
"Quite honestly, I never expected to have a big family - let alone ten kids," says Tracee, who says that she's "thrilled it ended up this way."
And while their story sounds a lot like fiction, Tracee says it couldn't be more real with the family spending upwards of $300 (more than R5000) per week on groceries!
"Yes, it can be tough, and laundry is an absolute nightmare, but the joy of the chaos is the best thing, and I wouldn't change it for the world."
