Mock mojito
The menthol in this drink helps the necessary enzymes for digestion and is also known to calm stomach cramps. 

You need:

  • 1 tabelspoon sugar
  • Bunch fresh mint leaves 
  • Juice of 3 limes 
  • Soda water 


  1. Muddle the sugar and mint leaves using a mortar and pestle or in a small bowl using the end of a rolling pin. 
  2. Put a handful of crushed ice into two tall glasses. Divide the lime juice and minty sugar between the glasses. Add a straw and top up with soda water. Now you're ready for sundowners on the deck!

Mint leaves are packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients. The menthol in them helps the enzymes necessary for digestion. It is known to calm stomach cramps, combat acidity and get rid of flatulence. Mint is also an excellent cure for morning sickness and boosts your immunity because it contains calcium, phosphorous, vitamins C, D, E and small amounts of vitamin B complex.
