100 different ways your family can reach out this Mandela Day
100 years of Madiba deserves to be celebrated in a special way, and Forgood is making it easier than ever with their list of 100 volunteering opportunities that your family can do from anywhere in the country.

It's been 100 years since the birth of the iconic Nelson Mandela, making this Mandela Day extra special.

Celebrated annually on 18 July, South Africans are challenged to complete 67 minutes of public service in honour of the example set by the late leader, which was characterised by courage, compassion and self-sacrifice.

'Be The Legacy' is this year's theme with a strong emphasis on contributing to those living in poverty.

Forgood, an online volunteering platform, has created a list of 100 ways you can volunteer – and you don't even have to leave your house.
“Through technology, we’re making volunteering even more accessible for people to get involved in Mandela Day. The internet means that individuals can do their bit from just about anywhere – even if you’re glued to your desk at the office,” explains Forgood CEO Andy Hadfield.
