Citing their daughter as the specific reason they've chosen to spend the holiday period as a family, Cardi has been adamant about co-parenting with Offset since their split.
""I guess we grew out of love but we're not together anymore... I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we're really good friends... I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father," she said, explaining their break-up to fans in an Instagram video.
And they're not the only ones
For all the drama that ensues, the entertainment industry holds many examples of parents coming together for the sake of the kids.

"It’s been a journey, and it’s been a transformation of myself — my needs and wants as a woman. Marc Anthony & Jennifer Lopez
"I feel it's my responsibility as a mom when their dad is not there to let them know that their dad loves them very much because that's the doubt that they have when he's not around or they haven't seen him. Chris Pratt & Anna Faris
“I think it’s just the general idea of just making sure that he’s surrounded by a lot of love and happiness and we’re really good at that and we have amazing friends and incredible family and we have like just the most amazing resources to make sure that he feels safe and protected and happy and so far he is.” - Anna Faris
Ryan Phillippe & Reese Witherspoon
“As a divorced dad, we trade off. Last year, my kids and I went to my parents in Delaware, this year they will be with their mom" - Ryan Phillippe

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon
"He's a good guy. It's not that hard to make it work. Now we can laugh, and joke, and do the good parts of when we had a relationship." - Mariah Carey
