If you don't already know all about the mess that is Cardi B and husband Offset's relationship, you've been living under a rock.

Parents to 5-month-old daughter, Kulture Kiari, the rappers have been caught in a number of public displays since news of the couple's split broke early December.

The jury is still out on whether or not the couple plan on reconciling, but what has been confirmed is that the mom and her estranged husband will be spending Christmas together.

Citing their daughter as the specific reason they've chosen to spend the holiday period as a family, Cardi has been adamant about co-parenting with Offset since their split.

""I guess we grew out of love but we're not together anymore... I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we're really good friends... I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father," she said, explaining their break-up to fans in an Instagram video

And they're not the only ones

For all the drama that ensues, the entertainment industry holds many examples of parents coming together for the sake of the kids.

Despite divorce, these couples prove that an end to a marriage does not mean an end to family.

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner

"If you recognize that you both have the best interest of the kids at heart, it’s quite a special connection. We’re the only two people in the world who care this much about these three kids. We don’t always agree." - Ben Affleck

Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan

"It’s been a journey, and it’s been a transformation of myself — my needs and wants as a woman. I think everyone wants to hold on to what’s in front of them, but when you open your mind, saying, ‘I want what’s best for myself and my daughter,’ you have to be okay with however that looks" - Jenna Dewan

Marc Anthony & Jennifer Lopez

"I feel it's my responsibility as a mom when their dad is not there to let them know that their dad loves them very much because that's the doubt that they have when he's not around or they haven't seen him. That's my job to do that the same way it's his job when he's with them to say 'Mommy is working and she loves you.'"  - Jennifer Lopez

Chris Pratt & Anna Faris

“I think it’s just the general idea of just making sure that he’s surrounded by a lot of love and happiness and we’re really good at that and we have amazing friends and incredible family and we have like just the most amazing resources to make sure that he feels safe and protected and happy and so far he is.” - Anna Faris

Ryan Phillippe & Reese Witherspoon

“As a divorced dad, we trade off. Last year, my kids and I went to my parents in Delaware, this year they will be with their mom" - Ryan Phillippe

Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin

“It’s definitely imperfect [but]... I’m really for Chris and he’s really for me and our children are our priority.” - Gwyneth Paltrow

Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick

"Scott and I communicate all the time. You have to keep discussing what's going on because as the children grow older, the rules need to be renegotiated." - Kourtney Kardashian

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

"He's a good guy. It's not that hard to make it work. Now we can laugh, and joke, and do the good parts of when we had a relationship." - Mariah Carey
