Rachel Kolisi is the woman of the moment, for all the right reasons.

The mom of four not only adopted her famous husband's younger siblings as her own, she also birthed two beautiful children and then struggled through PPD to come out the other side stronger than ever.

She quit her job to support her rugby captain husband and to raise the family while he travels the world to bring home trophies, but she also founded Rise, a 'transformation guide' for women who want to get fit, and equip them to find their best selves.

"Often we give a lot of ourselves to our families, and really neglect ourselves and I think it's so important to make yourself a priority again," she says in a recent Instagram video.

In the video, where she promotes local business myUTOPIA, she says she values a place where she can gather her thoughts "and not be overwhelmed".

Mothers everywhere can relate to that.

She admits that as a mother she is a "scatterbrain" and that "life gets hectic" so "she often forgets things". Don't we all? And few of us can boast a husband like Siya Kolisi or even as many as four children.

As her family's fame has increased, she has become more protective of her family, and recently pledged to keep her kids off of social media, sharing that they "started getting stopped and asked to take pictures, and they didn't like it".

She has previously told Parent24 that when it comes to parenting, she's the strict one while dad Siya gets the role of the "good guy".

She admitted that it’s "very tough raising a family with an athlete," explaining that "they travel so much, they are hardly around. So sometimes having to be mom and dad is hard."

Perhaps with the Rugby World Cup celebrations now almost over (will we ever really stop celebrating though?) the Kolisi family will have time to bond and spend some quality time alone together, soaking up the win and enjoying downtime together.

As her star continues to rise, we wish her all the best with the mom juggle we all know so well.
