WATCH | Three-year-old hurled in the air by large kite during a festival

An annual International Kite Festival was brought to a standstill after a freak accident left a three-year-old child with minor injuries to her face and neck. 

According to reports, the child was caught in the strings of a large kite, and due to strong winds, was lifted more than 9 metres in the air. 

The incident took place in Hsinchu City in Taiwan.
