If technology isn’t making your life better, what is it good for, right? And travel is no exception.
It’s that time when the holidays are calling everyone by name, and if you’re clan is heading for an international destination or just a weekend trip away, we’ve got a list of apps that’ll make the journey as fun and stress-free as possible.
1. The Google Maps app
You may be more familiar with using Google Maps for all those times you weren’t sure of a local address, but the app has way more uses than just that. Other than getting directions, you can get details on how much time it’ll take you to travel between locations, share your location with a friend or family member, get information on traffic congestion and view the destination in Street View. And all these features apply to whereever you find yourself in the world. Pretty snazzy.
A great alternative to Google Maps is Waze.
