Edufundi is a South African NGO that aims to make meaningful long-term impact on learning, offering in-classroom mentorship and support to teachers and school leaders.
Given that many parents are choosing to homeschool their kids during these trying times, the NGO is also placing a focus on assisting SA's parents in navigating the challenges of homeschooling.
To make homeschooling more fun, engaging and successful, Edufundi has launched a four-part homeschooling series called #EdufundiAtHome giving parents and caregivers easy to use tips.
- Tips from a home-schooling mum for keeping kids productive during lockdown
- Find homeschooling sites and information here
- Is Natural Learning the key to keeping young minds sharp during lockdown?
The series and tips are based on the programme and book Teach Like a Champion written by Doug Lemov. Each video has been created in English, isiXhosa and isiZulu.
Check out Edufundi's videos below if you'd like to know more about successfully homeschooling your kids.
