The wait is finally over!

Yesterday, Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga announced that the national pass rate for the 2018 NSC exams stands at 78.2%, meaning a 3.1% increase from 2017's 75.1% overall pass rate.

His celebratory tweet was of course followed by a slew of elated matriculants, their parents and the rest of the country, all in support of our future workforce.

I only managed to get two distinctions in Matric. The rest of my marks were not great. My symbols were A,A,B,C,C,D.

I did not get entry into med school with these marks. I had to do https://t.co/EegxveLDaF IM first. Which I did for a year
