The lockdown has put so many things on hold, but for Greenwood Primary School in Port Elizabeth, the phrase 'the show must go on' has taken on a whole new meaning.
"Our wind band has kept busy during this lockdown period, doing the best to remain "connected" with one another," the school shared in a Facebook post, and it shows.
The post included a video of the Greenwood Wind Band performing the Jazz standard, Spain, by American jazz composer Chick Corea, and considering that the members are not in the same space as they play, the performance is simply amazing.
Greenwood Primary School you should be very proud!
Shared initially to celebrate International Jazz Day, the primary school says the video is the first in its Virtual Wind Band series.
