A Reddit poster gives some pretty potent advice for stressed-out matrics

Learners have about a week before they can hang up their study schedules for 2018. And if there's anything they need right now, it's encouragement! 

That's exactly what this contributor did when posting a lengthy post via Reddit's r/southafrica community. 

So if your child is in need of a few words from someone who wasn't exactly a top achiever, but who still managed to make something of themselves, this might be just what they need:

For some, the advice was met with disagreement, and for others, the words couldn't have come at a better time: 

"I really needed to read this"

"Doing well academically means regurgitating"

"Two papers left" 

"Matric just really sucks big time"

"Thanks"
