It seems rapper and first-time mom Cardi B will spend her first Mother’s Day working instead of with 10-month-old daughter Kulture Cephus.
While other moms are being spoilt by their families – enjoying breakfasts in bed and cute pamper sessions in appreciation of their hard work and unconditional love – Cardi will be performing at a gig in Columbia in the US.
The 26-year-old Money hitmaker is very “sad about Mother’s Day” because of the booking but she does have plans for the day, People reports.
“I just hope South Carolina turns up for me because it’s like, I’m going to spend my first Mother’s Day with them.”
The rapper, who recently got candid about going under the knife, plans to bring her daughter along for some of her gigs but said this wasn’t always going to be best for Kulture.
“If it’s not convenient for her to fly I won’t [take her] because she’s really sensitive with the planes and her ears,” she said.
