She’d reached her wits’ end regarding her son’s laziness. So when his teacher complained that he’d arrived late for school yet again, the Australian mom responded in the most hilarious, but honest way possible.
The mother, simply known as Suzanne, texted her 13-year-old son’s teacher to vent about his “mouthy and hormonal” behaviour, reports Mirror Online.
“[He] thinks the world owes him a favour, refuses to get out of bed at a decent time for school, thinks the Xbox is life, grunts instead of speaking, spends 20 minutes in the shower . . .” Suzanne responded.
It’s like we can feel the anger seeping through her message . . .
She told LadBible her son arrived late to school for three consecutive days simply because “he cannot move himself on a school morning”.
"He had a pile of socks on his bed and yet 10 minutes before the bell rings he complains, 'I can't find any socks’,” Suzanne said.
"[He] walks out of his room, realising he's going to be late. I tell him to have a good day and that I love him and receive a grunt of 'urghhhhhh' in reply instead of actually replying to me."
So when she was asked by the school student services desk why he was late, Suzanne didn’t sugarcoat her answer.
“I went in and gave them the full explanation as to why, and to hopefully brighten their morning.”
