Mommy-shamers are always on the lookout for any alleged mishaps celebrities might make with their little ones.

And after actress Hilary Duff (31) shared an adorable mommy-daughter snap with her followers on Instagram, eagle-eyed trolls were quick to point out new studs in little Banks’ ears, which they weren’t impressed with, E online reports.

“I can’t fathom why you’d you think it’s okay to have your daughters’ ears pierced. Causing her a tremendous amount of pain and discomfort,” one Instagram user commented.

While some users threatened to unfollow the star, others simply called out the mommy bullies in support of the Younger actress.

“It’s not child abuse to pierce babies’ ears,” added one user following child abuse allegations.

Hilary, who’s engaged to singer Matthew Koma (32), has remained mum on the subject. She also has a seven-year-old son, Luca, with her ex-husband, retired ice-hockey player Mike Comrie (38).

But she isn’t the first famous mom to experience a backlash about her parenting skills.

Pink recently slammed trolls who criticised her for sharing a snap of her two-year-old son, Jameson, without a nappy.

“There’s something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there,” the 39-year-old singer captioned the photo.

“Going off about my baby’s penis? About circumcision? Are you for real? As any normal mother at the beach, I didn’t even notice he took off his swim diaper.”
