This youngster’s eyelashes are almost 5cm long.
Muin Bachonaev from Moscow, Russia has 4,3cm long lashes, reportedly the longest in Russia.
The 11-year-old says he's adjusted well to living with his eyelashes.
"I live like anybody. There’s no need to take special care of my eyelashes. I'm comfortable with them and don’t have any difficulties,” said Muin.
The little boy’s father Zaidullo Bachonaev said he was surprised when he saw his son’s eyelashes.
"When he was born, his eyelashes reached his lips. My wife and I were astonished,” said Zaidullo.
"We showed him to different doctors and were told he was okay and healthy. They said the gene responsible for his eyelash growth worked differently than usual."
Medical experts say the work of a gene can be influenced by the drugs that a woman takes during pregnancy.
"When Muin goes out into the street everybody pays attention to him. He’s okay with it," said Muin’s dad.
Muin is registered in the Russian Book of Records as having the longest eyelashes in his country.
