This soon-to-be-mom hasn’t allowed her growing belly to stop her from dancing!

Allison Sipes, from Florida, US, has wowed her Facebook followers, with regular videos of how she’s continued to exercise with a pole during her pregnancy.

The 35-year-old has done pole dancing since 2005 and is an instructor at Lotus Fitness Studio. She also manages the US Pole Sports Federation.

This is Allison’s first pregnancy and her baby, a girl, is due around 7 April.

“Pole dancing was business as usual until about 6 months,” she says.

“Then the extra weight gain/weight displacement began to make it challenging strengthwise, and with regards to what I was able to do safely with my growing belly.

“I’m still going strong at almost 38 weeks, and plan to continue until labour.”

The mom-to-be reveals that she consulted her doctors about her decision to continue exercising while expecting her little one.

“I’ve spoken with my doctors about my form of fitness, and they all agreed that as long as I felt good, keep doing it because it will make delivery and recovery afterwards much easier,” she says.

“They think what I do is pretty cool!

“They all encouraged me to continue exercise as long as I wanted to.

“I have fortunately had a very healthy pregnancy with zero complications, so keeping up with what I love to do – pole and aerial – has been a blessing.”
