Today is Unique Names Day, and in celebration of this day we look at five celebrities who have given their children unique names.
When babies are born they’re often given names that will guide their lives and give them purpose. That’s probably why most Lilys are as pretty and sensitive as lily flowers and most Thembekas are as trustworthy as their names suggest.
Some celebs though have given their kids some rather interesting monikers, to say the least. While their names raise a few eyebrows, these tots are adorable and almost as famous as their parents.
1. Power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z named their firstborn Blue Ivy Carter. Blue is for her parents’ fave colour and Ivy is for the Roman numeral four – which is Bey’s birthday (4 September), Hova’s birthday (4 December) and their wedding anniversary (4 April).
