Television and radio personality Zizo Tshwete is enjoying motherhood – even with its many challenges.
The mother of a three-year-old boy has always maintained that it’s not an easy job to do but it’s fulfilling.
She took to her Instagram page to share how her week with her son Vukile has been and asked other mothers to share their experiences with her too.
“No matter how organised you are, being a parent is not easy at all. This week V [Vukile] and I have been through the most,” she admitted.
“The way we were fighting this week, whether he doesn’t want to eat, wear his pyjamas or he’s giving me the run around when it’s time to go to school or wants to be carried and I mean all the crazy things,” she explained.
But through all the crazy her son has a way of winning back her on his side and say the sweetest things.
“There are just moments that redeem it all and make it all worth it. I usually call him sweet angel. This week he responded saying hello sweet mama. My heart just melted,” she confessed.
The bond between the two is undeniably strong and Vukile knows just the right time to make his mother feel better about life and motherhood when she feels like throwing in the towel.
“He’ll come and give me the biggest hug and kiss as if he knows I needed it exactly at that time. I’m sure he does. We have our own way of communicating. He now calls me Mama kaV,” she laughs.
The Umhlobo Wenene presenter also called motherhood the best experience of her life.
“It’s the best experience but the hardest job of my life,” she admitted.
