'I suck at writing neatly,' says my son with a sigh.
It's a frustration for him, because no matter how he tries to be slow and neat, his work never looks as tidy as it could.
I sympathise. No-one is good at everything. As a parent I struggle with acting bitchy when I'm in a hurry.
And it's okay to have flaws, as a parent and as a person. We just need to show love and tolerance, for ourselves as much as for our children.
