Inside love jokes
Making a heart connection starts with a laugh.
Adele Hamilton, Editor Parent24

'Love you, Chile!' says my 10-year-old.

It started with a crazy fan on TV, elated because of Chile's first round World Cup win. He was so funny and cute, we started saying it too, and now - Chile fans all having gone home - the catchphrase stays, and can always raise a smile.

It's something just between me and my boy, our thing. One of many things we can say or do to get a guaranteed smile from each other.

It's those little moments that build a huge love.

Our blogs are full of those moments, come and read, and you might want to join the conversation.

Our Parent24 T-shirt this week will go to the letter we love -- on any parenting-related thing you feel like sharing. The best letters go in our Readers Letters section, so mail us now.
