Robyn Addinall
At 11 and 17, my sons take themselves to bed without a grumble, understanding the need to get a decent night's sleep.
But it wasn't long ago we had the usual litany of bedtime delay tactics ('I need a glass of water...' 'My leg is sore inside...' 'I'm looking for my goggles...')
When we asked our Facebook fans what time bedtime is, we got an interesting variety of responses, from a gobsmackingly organised 6.45 to a slightly sheepish 10pm. (Like our page to join our Facebook parent chat).
Sleep, oh glorious and sometimes elusive prize! Read more about sleep - or the lack of it - on our Sleep centre.
Mail us the best and worst of your sleep stories on chatback@parent24.com. If yours is our favourite letter you could win a Parent24 T-shirt - it's so comfy you can even sleep in it if you want to!
