'When Ouma comes, we must bring her to this park for a walk.'

'When Ouma comes, she can sleep in my bed.'

We think about Ouma a lot, and we look forward to her visits. She's much loved, with her packets of hard mints, her willingness to play Scrabble, and her endless appetite for hugs.

Living in another town, she's carved a place in my children's hearts mainly through phone calls and a couple of visits a year.
