Local bus company employee delivers baby
Awesome Golden Arrow clipcard van driver helps deliver a baby in a Cape Town bus terminus!
On the 22nd of September 2012, a local bus employee went above and beyond his work duties when he helped deliver a baby. (Editor's note: This story was only recently shared by Golden Arrow, but we still wanted to tell our readers about it and spread some good news.)

Golden Arrow Bus Services clipcard van driver, Lennox Tshangana took it upon himself to help a woman give birth after he noticed her struggling to walk. Lennox and a fellow employee approached the pregnant woman at Hanover Park bus terminus when she looked hunched over and uncomfortable.

The mom-to-be, Anthea Klink surprised the Golden Arrow employees when she informed them that she was about to give birth right then and there. The gentleman had no idea what to expect as neither of them had ever delivered a baby before! Thankfully there wasn't much for them to because as soon as they assisted Anthea with removing her pants, the baby was already well on its way.

Anthea pushed and in mere moments Lennox was able to pull the new baby out and wrap the newborn in his jacket to keep the little one warm.

Lennox has said that he will never forget that day in September and that it was the most amazing experience in his life.
