There is no reason why you shouldn’t keep your belly ring in all the way through your pregnancy as long as it’s not bugging you. At some stage your belly button might “pop out” and this could be uncomfortable if it rubs on your clothing. There’s also a chance that you belly ring could catch on your clothing, bed linen or bath towel, which would not be pleasant.
