Being a pregnant celeb- the four phases

Keeping things private during pregnancy is your own choice, but let’s face it there’s not much privacy around pregnancy; once you start showing, the people around you will start making it their business to find out how it’s going.

It’s just something about pregnancy that keeps people interested. When a pregnant woman walks into a room filled with people, she is guaranteed to have at least three people around her asking her questions about her growing baby and pregnant life.

Most of celebs like to keep things on the low down during the first trimester as well as the last. During the first trimester, like everyone else they would like as few people to know as possible because flashing your not-yet-baby-bump might just end up biting you in the backside.

As you know, that is the most fragile stage of pregnancy where your baby goes through many changes and, for a celeb that gets followed everywhere they go, that can be the biggest pain in the world when they are pregnant. You want to keep that little peanut safe from any harm, so what they do is; they dress like weird looking Eskimos even when it’s not even that cold and they bundle things in front of their bellies just so that there is nothing that you can possibly publish.

During the second trimester the celebs that are pregnant almost flock to the paparazzi as if they’re saying they are back now and really want to be photographed. This is the golden, glowing stage where they just feel and look so beautiful and wear pretty maternity clothes and love the limelight; it’s almost as if they went into hibernation and now they’re coming out.

And then comes the third and final trimester, where most of the pregnant fairies either go back into hibernation or just seem to be glow-overload 3.0. For Kendra Wilkinson, for example, this is her shining time; she is about seven to eight months along and is looking stunning.

When it comes to giving birth it’s one of the most special, intimate moments that you remember for the rest of your life and having  just a few close ones around is usually the case. You want to keep it as private as possible but for a well-known celeb that just isn't the case.

For the past ten years, she’s been on television, so most of her life was documented and everyone is so comfortable with what she looks like. Everyone who watched and still watches her already knows what she looks like at her best and even her worst; because Kendra doesn't really hide anything.

That is why she was so comfortable with the decision she made just the other day. She told Celebuzz that she wants her Caesarean to be done on television. If ever you wondered how hardcore she could go, this is probably in the top three.

She also said that she wasn't going to hold anything back from the viewers, So no-holds barred  with the visual buffet!

Sometimes being a celebrity is hard work, but how much more when they're pregnant...

I feel a little sorry for them, do you?
