The internet has given us just about every conceivable version of the maternity shoot.
From the how'd they do that of underwater pregnancy shoots to that time a mom-to-be posed with 20 000 live bees, we've seen it all.
That's exactly what photographer Martyn Wilkes thought when he cooked up this epic parody paternity shoot.
"I'd been doing back-to-back maternity shoots and they were getting quite monotonous. I wanted to do something different and fun, make people laugh... which it did, much more than I could ever have imagined!" he told Parent24.

The now viral photo shoot features the photographer's friend, Paco, who's just a little too good at embodying the ethereal expecting mother.
"Paco did good, we achieved the 'feeling' I was looking for... eventually. It was very difficult to contain the laughing during the session... I had to keep telling Paco to take this shoot seriously and to 'feel' the love of his unborn child."
And despite an overwhelming interest by pregnant women, Martyn says he has yet to repeat this very unconventional shoot.

"I had lots of comments from pregnant mothers about getting their other halves to try out a paternity shoot but to date nobody has actually been brave enough to step forward."
