A maternity concierge

According to a Reuters article, busy moms-to-be can now hire baby planners to help them prepare for their baby’s arrival.

Costing from $50 to $150 an hour, baby planners help mothers-to-be with making their home childproof, setting up the nursery and they give advice on which baby clothes and products is best for your baby. Some even accompany couples to baby stores and if you’re too busy or too swollen to shop, they’ll shop for you and deliver the products to your home.

Many baby planners are mothers themselves so they have firsthand knowledge as to what expectant mothers need.

"I had no time to think about what I needed to do to prepare," said Melissa Garden, a busy New Yorker mom. "They pulled everything together for me."
