The story
Even before the birth of James Botes, now four and a half, his father, Deon, bought a few original Tintin posters. Together with his mother, Tracey-Lee, they conceptualised the idea of a quirky Tintin-themed bedroom.
All about texture
Wooden toys and handmade furniture, coupled with a leather armchair, lend the room a bit of old world charm. James, here on his mom's lap, does playball and soccer at his pre-school and has a whole collection of medals that are displayed in the room. His parents created this room with the help of an interior decorator. It's a space where he can easily make the transition from little boy to teen.
