According to 'Protect your family from abduction', here are a few vital lessons you can teach your child to keep them safe.

  • Kids should always play in areas away from the street, such as a backyard, or in a play area supervised by a responsible adult and never on their own.
  • Be sure that your child understands to never enter anyone's home without your approval.
  • Teach your child to never give any information over the telephone including their name and address, or indicate that they are alone.
The truth is that despite our best efforts, children are still abducted every single day. Every day, young children are taken from their homes, schools and parks. It's terrifying, it's heartbreaking and it's every parent's worst nightmare.
