When it comes to parenting, everyone feels they know what’s best for their child but unfortunately for Coco Austin, her fans seem to think they know better.

After posting an image of her 2-year-old daughter resting peacefully on her chest, Ice T's better half Coco received social media backlash from fans who felt that baby Chanel was too “big” to be breastfed.

According to BET, being mommy-shamed is not something new for this budding mother in the public eye.

Earlier this year, Coco was being criticised by some moms after taking baby Chanel shark-swimming during a family vacation in the Bahamas.

However, this time around the mom was defended by actress and reality show contestant Tiffany Pollard, who put the trolls in their place by explaining the history and health benefits of breastfeeding and telling them to grow up.

“Some children can be breastfeed up until the age of 12 to 13. Back in 1900s it was very common for children to come home during lunch break to breastfeed. Breasts are pillows for children and an excellent source of nutrition,” she said.

“Why is it okay for a human being to drink the milk of a cow instead of drinking the milk of he or she’s OWN MOTHER? [sic]” she asked.

“GROW UP PPL! Look at how other cultures do things in exotic countries, that’s why they are healthier than most Americans because they are not afraid of the extraordinary wonders of the human body, how it heals itself and produces its own nutrients!”
