It seems like mornings are always a rush - you’re always late, something is always missing and there’s always a form or some money or some schoolwork that has to still be found or completed. It can be crazy! The only way to change this is to get ready the night before. Teach the kids to pack their bags and check through everything as part of their night time routine. Make sure complete school uniforms are put ready over a nearby chair or hung on a doorknob while it’s still light (in case you need to wash anything). And don’t forget about your part in it either: lunches can be prepared during an episode of CSI, shower before bed and make sure your own clothes are ready and waiting. You won’t believe the difference. Everyone will start their day on a positive note and you’ll be a better mom for it.
