What do the contents of kids' pockets show you about their day-to-day adventures?
I can tell you that after an afternoon in the garden, I'm afraid to look!
My daughter has decided to become a conservationist (I persuaded her away from zookeeper, I admit) and she has spent many hours of the Covid-19 lockdown looking for geckos and bugs under every brick and potplant she can lift.
A few of her discoveries have made their way in to the house and while I'm ok with butterflies and caterpillars I'm not a fan of woodlice and centipedes underfoot.
So I was intrigued when I saw this campaign by SavingSpot.
The company encouraged parents from around the world to photograph the objects they found inside their kid’s pockets at the end of the day, and then answer a few questions about the items they found.

The result is an adorable reminder of childhood curiosity.
And of course I had to do it with my own five year old!
I think once you've seen the cute pics below you'll be keen to take a look at the contents of your own kids pockets.
Take a pic and send them to us! And don't forget to ask them about what they're carrying and let us know: chatback @ parent24.com.
Contents: 'Wolfie' the stuffed wolf, flowers for mama, 'Glitter' the gecko, a guinea fowl feather and a pine cone.
Kat says she her favourite item to carry is her stuffed wolf (who currently wears a mask at all times), but if she could fit anything in her pocket is would be a live gecko, because it would be 'very comfy' in there.
Dante says his favourite thing to carry is "a little golden elephant that my dad gave to me." He wishes he could carry his friends in his pocket.
Bilal says he loves cars and if he could carry anything in his pocket it would be a real car.
Wyatt says he likes taking sticks because sticks are his favourite, but if he could carry anything it would be a t-rex, "because they are kings!"
Brigid loves to carry sweets or chocolate chips in her pockets, but if given the choice she'll take her dog, Juno, with her everywhere.
William says he likes to carry the same things every day, but sometimes he forgets which pants he put them in. He loves to carry sweets with him and if allowed he would carry "five thousand" sweets with him.
Nadya likes to carry small stones with her, to throw into puddles, but if she could carry anything at all it would be slime - because her mother has forbidden it!
