About African Treehouse

When we started African Treehouse it was because we loved children, but hated most children’s music out there! Never mind kid-friendly music, what the world needed was adult friendly children’s music. And that’s what we’ve been making since 2005. It's educational, quality, infectious music played by top musicians, with professional production, from the heart of South Africa.

What we need and what you get

Our fourth CD, Nursery Rhymes for Africa, contains 12 favourite nursery rhymes performed in vibey African styles. It's almost complete, (we've already recorded all the lead and backing vocals, guitars, children's voices, keyboards and drums) but we still need to record bass, flute and saxophone, finish the album artwork and master and manufacture the CD. All this will cost $3 000.

We're not asking for a hand-out. Your contributions will be rewarded with the cool things listed on the right. By purchasing CDs and other packages in advance you'll be helping us complete our project.

There are different pledges to be made and some of the benefits are having a personalised song for your little one, a show in the comfort of your home, be the first to receive the new album and so much more. The choice is yours!
