Natural body polish
- 2 cups brown sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ cup olive oil
Mix the ingredients together well and place in small glass jars – the multiple yield makes this a perfect stocking filler.

DIY shaving cream
- 2/3 cup shea butter or a creamy body lotion
- 2/3 cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup baby oil
Mix the ingredients together with an electric beater for about a minute.

Pink bath salts
- 2 cups Epsom salts
- 1 cup Himalayan salt
- ½ cup bicarbonate of soda
- 20 drops lavender oil
- 20 drops rose oil (try your own combination of essential oils for a scent you love)
Mix the salts and bircabonate of soda together. Add the essential oils and mix well before decanting into a jar.
Natural lip scrub
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp white sugar
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp olive oil
Mix all the ingredients together. This recipe makes one portion but can be multiplied in order to fill your containers.

Manicure in a jar
Nail scissors, nail clippers, pretty nail files, nail brush, nail polish and polish remover wipes – all available at retail pharmacies. Fill a jar with nail product treats to make an easy-to-transport beauty kit. You can be creative and make something other than a mani jar – pedicures and facial jars are also great ideas, especially if you know what products the gift recipient likes to use.
