The lockdown has forced us all to get a bit more creative.
Whether it's finally making use of that dusty tin of beans at the back of the cupboard or re-using the playdough until it's turned quite grey, as the lockdown drags on I've been forced to use what I have in the house, as I can't pop out for supplies whenever I want to.
One area that's been getting tricky is finding new ways to entertain the kids: and then I found toilet roll crafts!
From clever to complicated, there is an endless number of ideas to be found online.
Spaceships, dinosaurs, racecars, unicorns, butterflies, goldfish and more - all emerge from the humble toilet roll, like magic.
All you need is a few toilet rolls, and some paint or crayons or coloured paper or newspaper or whatever you have available.
If you've run out of glue stick, you can make a simple glue at home by mixing a little flour and water into a gooey paste.
Take a scroll through Pinterest for ideas, or use your imagination!
