Those who know anything about the ladies behind the local podcast, The Great Equalizer, will know that female empowerment really floats their boat.

It should therefore come as no surprise that, when a host of local children’s book authors started cropping up in the world of self-publishing – all female authors, mostly moms – their spidey senses tingled.
