From actress to voice over artist to author, is there anything Gabrielle Union can't do?

The actress recently took to Instagram with news about her latest project, a children's book, Welcome To The Party.

"I want all our children to feel seen, respected, appreciated, and loved," she shared in the post, adding that since the birth of her daughter she's been "even more inspired to create stories that are not only representative of the cultural melting pot we live in, but also celebrate life and the fun, teachable lessons that come at every age."

Union is stepmom to five children with her sports star husband, Dwyane Wade, and in 2018, the couple welcomed their first child together via a surrogate.

Prior to the birth of her daughter, Union shared how she had had problems conceiving, opening up about her several miscarriages and how much she really wanted to mother her own child.

After trying numerous times, Gabrielle and husband went the surrogacy route.

She absolutely adores and celebrates Kaavia so much and her post about the book shows exactly that.

"This is my love letter for parents everywhere who are excited to welcome their bundle of joy to the party that is life."

Children's books seem to be a popular thing among celebrities, and it's such a beautiful thing since many have one thing in common: representation.
