  • "A lot of the things she does, I wouldn't think of doing," says Khosi about her character "Fiks."

Speaking to Channel24 Khosi Ngema and Natasha Thahane spoke about the rollercoaster weeks, following the successful release of Blood & Water.

"It's been incredible. I never forget how lucky and blessed I am to be a part of something so big. To have played such an important role in something so big. To have played such an important role in such an important story," says Khosi.

Khosi, who plays the female lead, Fikile Bhele, says that it was fun to play a character so different from who she in real life. "Just experiencing high school again through her was interesting. Cause my high school experience was different."

When asked about her high school experience, she says: "I was in the background, and I minded my own business. I was really shy, I still kind of am."

"A lot of the things she does, I wouldn't think of doing," she laughs.

Natasha, who takes on the role of Wendy - the inquisitive editor of the school paper, agrees and points out the differences between herself and her character.

"I was not as curious as Wendy and so fiesty as Wendy. I kept a lot of things to myself, but it was all fun," and like the hard-working Wendy, Natasha says she also enjoyed taking part in sport and cultural activities.
