Little Ruach Combrink isn't yet six months old, but he's already spent most of his life in hospital.

He was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect, hypoplastic right heart syndrome, shortly after his birth in December 2023, and he's only been at home for a month and a half since his birth.

The syndrome means that the right side of his heart has not developed properly.
