Rapper Riky Rick might have a grip on his finances right now but it was never like that while growing up, he told Bruce Whitfield during an interview on The Money Show on Radio 702.

Riky says even though they didn’t talk about money at home until there was really none, it’s not a road he will walk with his kids.

“You always got to speak about money. It’s not a taboo to speak about it within a household.”

“The biggest takeaway I took from my childhood was to keep the communication going with the children. Always let them know what’s going on and where do we stand. We were sort of blind to that,” he shared

“My daughter is 10 and my son is five. I always tell them they have to start working early for anything they want to do,” he said.

Well, some celebs believe it’s never to early to start earning or making money. They have managed to hit the ground running by making a way for their kids to start working young.

Even though Ntando Duma got a backlash for opening an Instagram account for her daughter Sbahle Mzizi, she has managed to make money out of it. Her daughter scored herself an ambassador deal with a nappy brand.

"I opened the Instagram account for business stuff. She actually gets paid every month. She is an ambassador for a nappy brand, so she posts stuff about the brand and gets paid for it. I am trying to get more deals for her so she can get more money," she told TimesLive.
