AMAPIANO producer and DJ, Deep London, has suffered a break-in at his studio.
The Hamba Wena hitmaker, whose real name is Lita Kupela, reported that his Ruimsig, Roodepoort, Joburg studio was burglarized on Saturday, 20 April.
Valuable recording systems were stolen while he was performing at a gig in Gauteng.
The 30-year-old musician from Joburg expressed his devastation over the incident.
"I'm hurt and devastated. It's unfair. These are my studio equipment that I bought with my own money," he said.
Deep London suspects the theft was carried out by someone he knows.
"I had just left for a private event in Midrand. There was an after-party planned for later," he explained.
According to Deep London, the thieves took everything, including his clothes.
"I don't know why they targeted me, but it's okay. I will recover. These things are replaceable," he stated.

He believes the culprits were specifically aiming to hurt him, as they also made off with new music stored on his music drives.
"The studio is secure and located away from crowded areas. It must be someone who knew I was away," he mentioned.
Colonel Noxolo Kweza, a police spokeswoman, confirmed to Daily Sun that a case has been opened at the Honeydew Police Station in Joburg and is currently under investigation.
"We are investigating a case of housebreaking. No arrests have been made yet," she said.
