Karabo Poppy partnered with Laliga and EA to create murals that celebrate South Africa football

The end results of her many collaboration is what is making young illustrators and graphic designers excited about her work.

A prolific illustrator and muralist, Karabo Poppy Moletsane has bagged another exciting collaboration. The partner this time around is Spanish Football League, LALIGA, and video game developers EA Sports. She's commissioned to create murals that celebrate the rich roots and history of South African football. The location is none other than Mzansi's Camps Bay (1 Victoria Road).

“I didn’t grow up in a family that loved football. A lot of people have this memory of being supporters and knowing a specific football moment. Football was never really a thing for me in our family. My interest in football started when I was an adult. I was drawn to the passion that the supporters have for their teams. Seeing that kind of excitement was something that made me want to know more about the game of football specifically South African football supporters.”
