She's 63 and he's 26 and they say the surrogate they paid to carry their child has taken them for a ride.

Quran McCain and his wife, Cheryl McGregor, raised eyebrows when they tied the knot in 2021 because of their 37-year age gap. Despite this, the TikTok-famous couple have brushed off the negative comments and have been working towards having a baby.

They started their surrogacy journey last year, but announced in May that their surrogate has since quit.

“At the moment it does feel like people are reaching out to us for the wrong reasons,” Quran says.

“We're completely broke. We don't get paid for our content. And then the surrogate goes and bleeds us dry,” he adds.

The couple from Georgia in the US claim their unnamed surrogate had unprotected sex with her partner while under contract with them to donate her eggs. This rankled as they had paid for her food, travel and Christmas expenses.

But Quran and Cheryl – who has seven children of her own – have not given up on their dream of starting a family.

“We are looking for a nice surrogate who is willing to sign a contract to have nothing to do with the child after its born,” Quran says.

The pair caught people’s attention after sharing their dance videos on TikTok shortly before tying the knot, and now have over four million followers and more than 162 million likes.

In an interview with British magazine daytime show This Morning, Quran said he worked for Cheryl’s son at a store when he was 15.

“I didn’t get to know Cheryl then, but when I was 23, I went to the store and got to know her and her name and we started messing together,” he recalled.

They got married five months after they started dating with Quran, who is younger than one of Cheryl's children, revealing that he'd been a virgin before hooking up with the granny.

Although Cheryl and Quran have been fielding negative comments from social media users as well as family since they struck up a romance, they say their love keeps getting stronger.

“Life has been amazing since we got married. Everybody has ups and downs, but our ups are way better than our downs,” Cheryl says.

“I will continue to be an inspiration and love. I hope other people can someday feel what I feel and stop hating on people who are just living,” she adds.

They also have an OnlyFans account where they share exclusive and saucy content with subscribers.
