Sex workers refuse to vote!

Rise Mzansi has expressed concerns over the illegal removal of its election campaign posters in Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality, Eastern Cape. The party claims that opposing political parties are systematically taking down their posters, an action that undermines democracy and violates Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) guidelines.

ANC PRESIDENT Cyril Ramaphosa may have to address nearly an empty FNB stadium.  The governing party is holding its final Siyanqoba Rally at the stadium in Joburg on Saturday, 25 May.

The rally has been held every general election year since 1994 to demonstrate the power and confidence of ANC that it would win the upcoming elections. 

If the empty seats are anything to go by, the people of Gauteng have sent a clear message to the party and its leaders that they have no confidence in the ANC.

FORMER DA Eastern Cape leader, Nqaba Bhanga is determined to increase the ANC's support in the province.

This after he rejoined the ANC.Nqaba, who is also former Nelson Mandela Bay mayor, was expelled by the DA in December 2023 following a longstanding dispute with the party after he accused Helen Zille of racism on Facebook in June 2023.

ECONOMIC Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema met with traditional leaders, including Kgoshi Moloto III, in his home province of Limpopo, Moletji, just outside Polokwane, on Thursday, 23 May.

This meeting was part of his campaign efforts for the upcoming general elections.Malema said it's tradition for his party to go and greet the traditional leadership and report their presence whenever they are in the area.
